About

Hello! My name is Eddy, and welcome to my website.

Writing about myself is one of my least favorite activities, so instead of doing that, let me talk more about what brought you to this site after all.

The need to create things is something that I have had in me since I was a kid. For me, it starts with Legos, building skateboard ramps, learning to play the guitar, a stint in a custom cabinet shop, and the progression continues. My mom was recently retired and the home she would be spending a lot of time in needed some work. One day she told me about a quote she received for some baseboards and my jaw hit the floor. I told her that while I’ve never done this work before, I was confident that I could knock it out for a fraction of the price, all I needed was a $80 miter saw and some nails. I finished the project, and now I needed to figure out what else I could do with a miter saw. Cut…Stuff? At an angle? Pretty much. One day while waiting for an oil change, I walked across the street to the local home center and bought a bunch of plywood and paint. A few hours later I had cut about 500 triangles and thought they looked pretty interesting laid out together. Painted them up, glued them together, slapped a rickety frame around it and tried to convince myself that it looked good enough to hang on the wall. I still cant say exactly why this happened, or how the triangle party morphed into what it has today, but I’m very glad it did and I’m very grateful I now get to share my journey with you. Thanks for your time!
